Frequently Asked Questions

We realize not everyone is an "expert" in the production business and that some of the things needed to finish your project may seem a bit mysterious. Listed below are questions that deserve to be asked of any professional production team.

Are you a creative team or a technical team?
The answer to that question is, "yes". Years of experience in both arenas have left us well-rounded, and made us able to tackle most situations. If we come across something that is outside our scope of experience, we won't hesitate to say so, as we believe it's more important to solve problems than to save face.

I need help fleshing out my idea before I can commit to producing it. Can you help me with that?
Absolutely. We love brainstorming with our clients, so don't worry if you know you need a video for your website, but have no idea what it should look like. That's where we come in. We'll sit down with you and help you create the vision that's appropriate for your needs.

What kind of gear/software do you use?
We are fans of Sony HD cameras and Nikon still cameras, but will happily use any other camera system, if you desire. We finish our projects in the Final Cut Pro Studio and the Adobe Creative Suites, which we run on Apple computers and monitors.

How are your finished products delivered?
Whether you intend to broadcast your commercial in HD on cable, your business pitch on a DVD for your colleagues, your wedding on a VHS tape for your family, or your baby's first steps on YouTube, we will deliver it to you as an HD data disk for your archives, a standard DVD for screening, and Quicktime and Windows Media files for email sharing and posting on the Internet. If you need delivery in additional formats, we can make arrangements for that as well.

Do you employ all those people you mentioned, or are they freelance employees?
We are a Mom and Pop shop with a solid network of skilled professionals who we've gotten to know over the years. We hire them on an as-needed basis.

My project is small. Very small. Will you give me the time I feel I deserve?
We give 100% to all our clients and are pleased to have discovered that some of the smallest jobs were the most rewarding. That said, we treat every project as our most important project.

Is this what you do for a living?
Yes. We are very fortunate to make our living doing what we love to do.
